This witch hunt is sad to observe. Players voting to ban other player, that is very good. Hop can you rationalize that guys?

Pretty easy. Blatant disrespect for a ref at the event, physical contact with the ref, and involving the man's wife ffs - without anything in the way of apology since. Such extreme unsportsmanlike conduct cannot go unpunished; I cannot fathom how anyone would even attempt to defend it.

Dear Colleagues from ETC and T9A community

I would like to write that please don't consider annonymous and fake accounts.
Any statements from Polish National Team will come only from official named persons.
Thank you

I think you don't need to worry as most of the captains know to only look at statements by people with tags and not at random people.

The 2 refs both stated that there was physical contact. No witnesses have stated that it didn't happen.

Banning someone is always likely to split opinions, it is a very black or white option, what is needed is something more grey.

I am not involved, wrong rules set and not a Captain, but as a suggestion, why not start the team of the offending player on a negative score the next time they play? This will force anyone considering anti social behaviour to consider the effect it will have on the rest of the team. A little tough on his(or her) innocent team mates but it does find a middle ground.

Hope this helps, I would hate for all the people, umpires/refs and chairmen to be put in an unpleasant spot over this sort of issue, I think you all do a really good job and are, at the end, just regular guys volunteering for what can be a difficult job.

Mike.

I like the idea
100pts penalty if he shows up. That is quite as good as a ban for me.

But chairmen did sanction already.
Decision is final for me, even if I'm not happy with it.

I agree with this statement too. Taking any other initiate would mean delegitimizing their decision
